All orders placed through Refrigerated Equipment Distributors Inc. are carefully reviewed and processed within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Orders received after 2:00 PM (PST) may be processed the following business day.
For in-stock items, shipments are typically dispatched within 3–5 business days. Custom-configured or special-order refrigeration units may require additional lead time, which will be clearly communicated to you upon order confirmation.

We ship across the continental United States using trusted freight and courier carriers. Due to the size, weight, and specialized nature of commercial refrigeration equipment, most shipments are handled via LTL freight (Less-Than-Truckload) to ensure safe handling and on-time delivery.
Available shipping methods include:
- Standard Freight Delivery — 5–10 business days for most locations within the continental U.S. Curbside delivery is included; lift-gate service is available upon request.

- White Glove Delivery — Available for large installations. Includes inside delivery and placement. Additional charges may apply.
- Local Delivery / Pickup — Customers located near our distribution center may arrange local pickup or direct delivery. Please call ahead to schedule.
Commercial refrigeration units are heavy, oversized items that require special freight handling. Please review the following guidelines to ensure a smooth delivery:
- You or an authorized representative must be present to receive and sign for the shipment at the time of delivery.
- Inspect all packaging carefully before signing the delivery receipt. Note any visible damage, dents, or missing items directly on the delivery paperwork.

- Failure to note damage at the time of delivery may affect your ability to file a freight claim or receive a replacement.
- The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment window. Please ensure someone is available during the agreed timeframe.

When your freight arrives: (1) Count all packages against the packing slip. (2) Check for any exterior damage before the driver leaves. (3) Take photos of any damage immediately. Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. Rates will be displayed during checkout or provided in your order quote. For large or multi-unit orders, our team may reach out to confirm freight pricing prior to dispatch.
- Freight charges are calculated by dimensional weight or actual weight, whichever is greater.
- Lift-gate service is available for an additional fee if your location does not have a loading dock.
- Remote or rural locations may incur additional delivery surcharges. Our team will notify you if this applies to your order.
- Re-delivery fees may apply if a delivery attempt fails due to no one being present to receive the shipment.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipment notification email containing your tracking number and the carrier's information. You can use this to monitor your delivery in real time.
- Tracking updates may take up to 24–48 hours to appear in the carrier's system after dispatch.
- If you have not received a tracking notification within 5 business days of your order, please contact us.
- For freight shipments, the carrier will call to schedule your delivery appointment — please ensure your phone number is up to date on your order.

We take great care to package all equipment securely for transit. However, in the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or with missing components, please follow the steps below:
- Document all damage with clear photographs immediately upon delivery.
- Note all damages on the carrier's Bill of Lading before the driver departs — this is critical for freight claims.

- Do not dispose of any packaging materials until the claim has been resolved.
