Our Code of Conduct
— Built on Integrity
Working with Frigerated Equipment Distributors Inc. should feel as reliable and solid as the equipment we distribute. This is our commitment to honesty, fairness, and respect — for every customer, every partner, every team member.
Who We Are
Integrity Is Not an Option
— It Is Built In
At Frigerated Equipment Distributors Inc., our reputation is built one transaction at a time. Every quote we deliver, every unit we dispatch, and every call we take is an opportunity to demonstrate that we mean what we say.
This Code of Conduct outlines the standards we hold ourselves to across every dimension of our business — pricing, communication, sourcing, and accountability. It applies to every director, employee, sales representative, logistics partner, and third-party acting on our behalf.
These are not aspirational guidelines. They are the operating rules we enforce daily — and we invite you to hold us to them.
Six Guiding Principles
The Standards Behind
Every Interaction
These principles guide every conversation, every contract, and every delivery from the moment you reach out to the day your equipment arrives.
Honest Communication
We give you accurate pricing, realistic timelines, and straight answers from the very first interaction. There is no upselling, no bait-and-switch, and no deliberate ambiguity in how we present our products or services.
Full Transparency
What you see in our listings is what you receive. Equipment condition descriptions, grading classifications, and any relevant notes are accurate and kept current. If anything is uncertain, we say so upfront.
Fair Pricing
Our quotes reflect true market value — no hidden fees, no surprise charges after you've committed to an order. Equipment cost, delivery, and tax are always presented as clearly separated line items.
Respect & Professionalism
Every customer is treated with patience, courtesy, and respect — whether you're purchasing a single unit or outfitting an entire commercial cold-chain operation. There is no tiered service here.
Responsible Sourcing
We work exclusively with depots and logistics partners who meet our standards for equipment safety, accurate condition grading, and ethical business practices. Suppliers who fall short are removed from our network.
Accountability
When something goes wrong — and occasionally it will — we own it immediately, communicate transparently, and resolve it as fast as possible. Our team is reachable and responsive from quote to delivery and beyond.
Our Commitments
What We Promise Across
Every Part of Our Business
① Our Commitment to Customers
Every person who contacts Frigerated Equipment Distributors Inc. deserves clarity, respect, and follow-through. Here is what we promise you — every single order, without exception.
- Provide clear, accurate descriptions and verified condition grading for every unit we list — no inflated grades, no vague disclaimers.
- Offer pricing that reflects fair market value with no hidden costs, bundled fees, or last-minute additions after you have committed to an order.
- Respond promptly and substantively to your questions, quote requests, and delivery concerns — you will not be left chasing us.
- Never pressure you into a purchase or upsell you on services, accessories, or protection plans you have not asked for and do not need.
- Communicate proactively about your delivery status, including any changes to schedule or logistics, before they affect your operation.
- Treat every concern or complaint as legitimate and resolve it with the same urgency we bring to winning new business.
② Conduct of Our Team
Every member of our team — from our sales representatives to our logistics coordinators and delivery drivers — is expected to uphold these behavioural standards in every customer and partner interaction.
- Treat every customer with courtesy, patience, and genuine respect — regardless of order size, geography, or how busy the day is.
- Communicate honestly about equipment availability, unit condition, and delivery timelines — even when the news is not what the customer hoped to hear.
- Handle all customer information, property, and site access with care, discretion, and full compliance with applicable privacy standards.
- Follow all applicable safety regulations during delivery, site visits, and equipment handling — protecting customers, partners, and colleagues alike.
- Escalate concerns or complaints immediately rather than attempting to manage them independently or let them go unresolved.
- Never engage in any form of bribery, kickback, or improper inducement in connection with any business activity on behalf of our company.
③ Working With Suppliers & Partners
The integrity of our supply chain is as important as the integrity of our customer relationships. We hold every depot, logistics provider, and third-party representative to the same standards we hold ourselves.
- Work only with suppliers who provide accurately graded, properly inspected equipment that genuinely matches the condition grade under which it is sold.
- Require all logistics partners to honour delivery commitments and communicate proactively when circumstances require a schedule change.
- Conduct due diligence on all new suppliers and third-party representatives before bringing them into our network or allowing them to act on our behalf.
- Remove any partner from our network who misrepresents equipment condition, engages in unethical practices, or violates the terms of our agreements.
- Maintain written anti-bribery and ethical conduct representations in all significant supplier and partner contracts.
- Audit supplier compliance periodically and act swiftly on any credible concern raised about partner conduct.
④ Resolving Issues Fairly
When something goes wrong — and we acknowledge that occasionally it will — our process is designed to treat every concern seriously, investigate it thoroughly, and reach a fair resolution as quickly as possible.
- Listen to your concern fully and without judgment before forming any conclusions about cause or responsibility.
- Investigate the issue promptly, gathering all relevant information from our team, logistics partners, and any applicable documentation.
- Communicate our findings and proposed resolution to you directly and clearly — no corporate deflection, no unnecessary delays.
- Work toward a resolution proportionate to the issue — whether that is a replacement unit, partial or full refund, or another appropriate remedy.
- Apply lessons learned from every complaint to prevent recurrence — individually and at a process level.
- Never retaliate against any customer, employee, or partner for raising a legitimate concern through appropriate channels.

Supply Chain Integrity
The Standards We Demand
From Every Partner
Accurate Equipment Grading
All depot partners must grade equipment honestly and consistently. Any discrepancy between listed and delivered condition triggers an immediate review and potential removal from our approved network.
Reliable Logistics Commitments
Logistics partners are held to confirmed delivery schedules. Where circumstances require a change, we expect advance proactive communication — not an after-the-fact explanation.
Ethical Business Conduct
All partners must operate free from bribery, corruption, and unethical practices. Contractual anti-corruption representations are required, and credible violations result in immediate termination of the relationship.
Safety & Regulatory Compliance
We work only with suppliers and logistics providers who operate in compliance with applicable safety regulations — protecting their workers, our customers' sites, and the integrity of the equipment we distribute.
Reporting a Concern
Every Concern Deserves
a Direct Response
If you ever feel that our team, a partner, or any aspect of your experience with Frigerated Equipment Distributors Inc. did not meet the standards outlined in this Code of Conduct — we want to hear about it directly. No concern is too small. No channel is wrong.
Whistleblower Protection
Employees, contractors, and partners who raise concerns in good faith are fully protected from any form of retaliation. We enforce this without exception.
Confidential Reporting
All reports are handled with discretion. You may raise a concern without identifying yourself if you prefer, and we will still investigate it thoroughly.
Rapid Acknowledgment
Every report receives a direct acknowledgment within one business day. You will never be left wondering whether your concern was received.
